CREATIVE PROCESS

The path to a great design

Firstly and most importantly, we treat our Clients as “Creatives” too.

We also go to great lengths to support our long standing philosophy that everyone in the firm is a “Creative” no matter what role they play. We encourage everyone involved to think creatively and not to be limited by boundaries or inhibitions.

Our initial interactions with prospective Clients or with those existing Clients coming to us with new opportunities, are focused on gaining a deep insight into their needs, their ideas and the parameters within which they are defining their project. We make this a very interactive and collaborative process and devote much time to achieving a deep understanding of the goals for the project whilst offering up our thoughts and ideas.

We use both contemporary and traditional tools to help in this collaborative process. We do a lot of hand sketching in front of the Client and believe that this is one of the most significant interactions one can have in order to spark the idea and then develop it into something that’s authentic and substantive.

Once all aspects of the design have been developed, we create packages of drawings and specifications that can be tendered.

For those Clients seeking a ‘turnkey design & project delivery” approach where the design can be managed, purchased and installed, we offer Sourcing & Procurement through our sister company, Spectrum Purchasing. This has a number of unique advantages where, through an “open book” approach to pricing and our extensive experience of global sourcing and supply chain optimization, we are able to deliver competitively priced projects in a shorter timeframe.

Our commitment to deliver our very best service is the same…no matter if we are designing a hotel for a group or a residence for a private Client.
